What types of therapy do we offer at PAC?
Music Therapy
Music Therapy offers a safe space to explore thoughts and feelings through listening, playing, or writing music—you don’t need to be “good” at music. We can connect with ourselves and others by hearing meaningful songs or creating new pieces. Music Therapy helps us explore emotions, rewrite lyrics to “change our story,” or share quiet moments together. Our Music Therapy room is equipped with instruments and music technology, providing a creative space to be yourself through sound and play.

Art Therapy
When speaking is hard, creating art can express feelings without words. It’s not about being good at art—it’s about what emerges through creativity. Our rooms offer many art materials. Through making and reflecting on artwork, people explore complex feelings, build self-awareness, regulate emotions, and work through trauma. You can also talk if you wish, and together with the therapist make sense of your difficulties.

Talking Therapy
Talking therapy gives you a safe, confidential space to explore what’s happening for you and make sense of it. It can ease emotional distress and build understanding of yourself and others. Talking about worries often brings clarity and makes difficult feelings easier to handle. Sessions may include miniatures work, timelining, and other integrative tools tailored to you.

Integrative Therapy
Integrative therapists are person centred and client led, considering your past experiences alongside your current life. They may draw on a range of ways to work, including talking, play, sand tray, and other creative methods. This flexible approach helps find what works best for you and supports meaningful change at your pace.
